These are instructions for making kanzashi, from preparing fabric to assembling a finished ornament.
You will need the following items:

• Suitable fabric (see 'Preparing fabric' section);
• Sharp scissors;
• PVA glue;
• Tweezers;
• Cardboard;
• Beads or bead caps for flower centres;
• Wire;
• Glue gun (for making finished arrangements);
• Mizuhiki (optional decoration);
• Rice glue (optional, but useful if you plan to make several kanzashi);
• Small wooden board or plank (to be used with rice glue)
